1. Who we are

Prakshar (“Prakshar”, “we”, “us”, “our”) is a software studio operating from Rajkot and Anand, Gujarat, India. We act as the Data Fiduciary for personal data collected through prakshar.com. For any privacy-related question, write to hello@prakshar.com.

2. What we collect

We collect only what we need to respond to you and run the site:

• Contact enquiries: name, email, phone, company, message — submitted on the home-page contact form.
• Career applications: name, mobile, city, role applied for, current status, a short note about you, optional portfolio link, optional referrer — submitted on the /careers form.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, timestamps — logged by our hosting and bot-protection providers for security and reliability.

We do not knowingly collect data from children under 18. We do not collect sensitive personal data (financial, health, biometric, sexual orientation) through this site.

3. Why we collect it

• To reply to your enquiry or application.
• To send you proposals, follow-ups, or status updates related to your request.
• To protect the site against spam, abuse, and unauthorised access.
• To comply with applicable Indian law.

We do not sell your data. We do not use it for behavioural advertising. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

4. Lawful basis (DPDP Act, 2023)

We process your personal data on the basis of your consent, given when you submit a form on this site. You can withdraw consent at any time by writing to hello@prakshar.com — we will stop processing your data and, where lawful, delete it.

5. Who we share it with

We share personal data only with the service providers we use to run the site and respond to you:

• Email delivery — to deliver your enquiry or application to our inbox.
• Hosting and CDN — to serve the site.
• Bot protection (Cloudflare Turnstile) — to keep forms free of automated abuse.

Each provider is contractually required to handle your data only on our instructions. We may also disclose data if compelled by a lawful order from an Indian government authority.

6. How long we keep it

• Contact enquiries: up to 24 months from last interaction, then deleted.
• Career applications: up to 12 months from submission (so we can revisit the pipeline for similar roles), then deleted.
• Technical logs: typically 30-90 days, depending on provider.

7. Your rights

Under the DPDP Act, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request erasure of your data.
• Withdraw consent at any time.
• Nominate a person to exercise your rights.
• Raise a grievance with us, and if unresolved within 30 days, with the Data Protection Board of India.

To exercise any of these rights, write to hello@prakshar.com with the subject “DPDP request”. We will respond within 30 days.
